Champions League Twenty20 2011 Schedule

Champions League Twenty20 2011

Champions League Twenty20 2011 will begin on Friday, September 23, 2011 in India as per cricket schedule announced. Champions League T20 2011 is an international tournament to be organized by India. Champions League Twenty20 2011 will consist of 23 Twenty20 Matches to be hosted by India in Sep-Oct 2011. The Champions League Twenty20 2011 tournament is a part of Future Tour Programs prepared by International Cricket Council (ICC). India will host this tournament, beginning on September 23, 2011. In Champions League Twenty20 2011 bilateral series, first T20 match would be between Royal Challengers Bangalore-Chevrolet Warriors on Sep 23, 2011 at 20:00 local time to be played at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.

The enigma and exhilaration associated with the new brand of cricket - T20 - is always at a peak amongst audiences and spectators around the globe. After the success of several domestic T20 leagues and championships, the ICC decided to initiate an International League comprising club teams from all the cricketing nations. Thus the concept of Champions League Twenty20 was born. Since its inception in the year 2008, it has been a major hit amongst crowd, local and foreign. Even there is huge anticipation from its recent version, the NOKIA Champions League Twenty20 2011, which will have top club teams of India, South Africa and Australia fight it out for ultimate glory.

The Champions League 2011 Twenty20 tournament is slated to begin from Friday, September 23, 2011. The entire tournament is under the joint administration of the cricketing boards of India (BCCI), Australia (CA) and South Africa (CSA). This year, India will play host to this prestigious event, as per the announcements of The International Cricket Council. This international league will consist of 23 T20 International matches that will be played during the period of September-October. This tournament also forms the past of the innovative Future Tour Programs that had been initiated by the ICC a few years back.

Overall, there will be 10 teams. Top club teams from India (Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians), Australia (NSW Blues and South Australian Redbacks) and South Africa (Cape Cobras and Warriors) will battle it out in the preliminary stages. The remaining 3 teams will be decided after a qualifier between teams from the Caribbean, New Zealand, India, England and Sri Lanka. The teams have been categorized under 2 groups. The inaugural match will be played between Chevrolet Warriors and Royal Challengers Bangalore on September 23, at the prestigious M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

The teams have been randomly pitted against each other. After the qualifying rounds get over, 3 teams will enter into the main competition. 10 teams will fight it out for a place in the semis, after which there is the grand finale. Since, T20 is a fast paced game, none are deemed as favorite. Every team has a sure shot chance of defeating the others and making it to the semis. People will have to wait till the end of the tournament, i.e. October 9, in order to find out which team is crowned the champion of champions. To have close watch, you can check Champions League T20 Points Table.
Qualifier : Kolkata Knight Riders (IPL), Trinidad and Tobago (West Indies), Auckland Aces (New Zealand), Ruhunu Eleven (Sri Lanka), Somerset (England) and Leicestershire (England).

The Indian Army (IA, Devanagari: ?????? ??????, Bharatiya Thalasena) is the land based branch and the largest component of the Indian Armed Forces. With about 1,100,000 soldiers in active service[2] and about 960,000 reserve troops,[2] the Indian Army is the world's second largest standing volunteer army.[1][3] Its primary mission is to ensure the national security and defence of the Republic of India from external aggression and threats, and maintaining peace and security within its borders. It also conducts humanitarian rescue operations during natural calamities and other disturbances. The President of India serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Army. The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), a General, is a four star commander and commands the Army. There is typically never more than one serving general at any given time in the Army. Two officers have been conferred the rank of Field Marshal, a 5-star rank and the officer serves as the ceremonial chief.
The Indian Army came into being when India gained independence in 1947, and inherited most of the infrastructure of the British Indian Army that were located in post-partition India. It is a voluntary service and although a provision for military conscription exists in the Indian constitution, it has never been imposed. Since independence, the Army has been involved in four wars with neighboring Pakistan and one with the People's Republic of China. Other major operations undertaken by the Army include Operation Vijay, Operation Meghdoot and Operation Cactus. Apart from conflicts, the Army has also been an active participant in United Nations peacekeeping missions.

indipendence day

indipendence day

The Independence Day of India is celebrated on the fifteenth of August to commemorate its independence from British rule and its birth as a sovereign nation in 1947.[1] The day is a national holiday in India. All over the country, flag-hoisting ceremonies are conducted by the local administration in attendance. The main event takes place in Delhi, the capital city of India, where the Prime Minister hoists the national flag at the Red Fort and delivers a nationally televised speech from its ramparts. In his speech, he highlights the achievements of his government during the past year, raises important issues and gives a call for further development. The Prime Minister also pays his tribute to leaders of the freedom struggle.

In 1946 the Labour government in Britain, its exchequer exhausted by the recently concluded World War II, and conscious that it had neither the mandate at home, the international support, nor the reliability of native forces for continuing to control an increasingly restless India,[2][3] decided to end British rule of India, and in early 1947 Britain announced its intention of transferring power no later than June 1948.
As independence approached, the violence between Hindus and Muslims in the provinces of Punjab and Bengal continued unabated. With the British army unprepared for the potential for increased violence, the new viceroy, Louis Mountbatten, advanced the date for the transfer of power, allowing less than seven months for a mutually agreed plan for independence. In June 1947, the nationalist leaders, including Pandit Nehru, Abul Kalam Azad, Mohammed Ali Jinnah, B. R. Ambedkar and Master Tara Singh agreed to a partition of the country along religious lines. The predominantly Hindu and Sikh areas were assigned to the new India and predominantly Muslim areas to the new nation of Pakistan; the plan included a partition of the provinces of Punjab and Bengal.
Many millions of Muslim, Sikh, and Hindu refugees trekked across the newly drawn borders. In Punjab, where the new border lines divided the Sikh regions in half, massive bloodshed followed; in Bengal and Bihar, where Mahatma Gandhi's presence assuaged communal tempers, the violence was more limited. In all, anywhere between 250,000 and 500,000 people on both sides of the new borders died in the violence.[4] On 14 August 1947, the new Dominion of Pakistan came into being, with Muhammad Ali Jinnah sworn in as its first Governor General in Karachi. At the stroke of midnight, as India moved into August 15, 1947, Jawaharlal Nehru, read out the famous Tryst with destiny speech proclaiming India's independence.India, now a smaller Union of India, became an independent country with official ceremonies taking place in New Delhi, and with Jawaharlal Nehru assuming the office of the first prime minister, and the viceroy, Louis Mountbatten, staying on as its first Governor General.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – With SummerSlam approaching, World Heavyweight Champion Christian did what some said couldn’t be done – pin WWE’s Apex Predator Randy Orton.
World Heavyweight Champion Christian & R-Truth def. Randy Orton & John Morrison
At one point in their bout, Christian ran out into the WWE Universe to avoid an angry Viper who was in hot pursuit. But, when the two finally collided in the ring toward the end of the tag team battle, it was the World Champion who reigned supreme. When R-Truth fell victim to an RKO, Christian seized the moment and dropped Orton with the Killswitch for the win. Is it a sign of things to come when the two bitter rivals meet at SummerSlam? (Preview)
WWE Tag Team Champions David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty and JTG def. The Usos and Trent Barreta
In a fast-paced battle, Michael McGillicutty perfectly served up Trent Barreta for tag team partner David Otunga to drop the elbow and pick up the victory.
Mark Henry def. Vladimir Kozlov
Mark Henry came right out of the gate with a powerful offense and never looked back. After downing Vladimir Kozlov with The World’s Strongest Slam for the win, he wrapped Kozlov’s leg in a steel chair and dropped his massive frame on his helpless victim. Then from out of nowhere, Sheamus charged the ring, looking to take a swipe at Henry with a steel chair. But Henry quickly avoided a strike and then stared down his SummerSlam opponent from outside the ring. Then in a familiar scene, Kozlov was removed from the ring on a stretcher. Later, Sheamus talked about facing Henry at Summer Slam (WATCH | Exclusive Sheamus interview | SummerSlam preview).
Intercontinental Champion Ezekiel Jackson def. Zack Ryder
In an impressive showing, Zack Ryder held his own against big Ezekiel Jackson. However, the champion eventually asserted his dominance in a big way by repeatedly slamming GM Teddy Long’s assistant to the canvas then punishing him with a session in his Torture Rack.
Zack Ryder made a “State of the Showski” Address
Attempting to make his mark on Friday nights, Zack Ryder addressed the WWE Universe about his new support role to Long. However, he was quickly interrupted by Jackson, who took umbrage with Ryder pitting him against Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase in a Handicap Match last week. When Rhodes and DiBiase joined in the discussion, Teddy put an end to all of the talk and pit Ryder in a match against Jackson.
Daniel Bryan def. Tyson Kidd (WATCH | PHOTOS)
In a battle that remained competitive until the very end, Mr. Money in the Bank Daniel Bryan made Tyson Kidd tap out using an asphyxiating submission move. Helping call the action at the announce table was Wade Barrett, who said it was a fluke that Bryan won at Money in the Bank.
Natalya def. AJ (WATCH | PHOTOS)
In a match pitting mentor vs. protĂ©gĂ©, Natalya made AJ submit to the Sharpshooter. But, the powerful blonde wasn’t content with just the win. After the match, she taught AJ another lesson by brutally assaulting her outside the ring. Then, after saying “Beth Phoenix, I’m with you sister,” Natalya crouched over AJ and declared: “The days of the cute, perky little princesses are over”!

Sheamus def. The Great Khali (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Sheamus continued to show just how tough he really is. In a stunning turnabout, The Celtic Warrior escaped The Khali Vise Grip – a move that usually spells the end for most Superstars. Then, using a Brogue Kick to the head, Sheamus took down one of WWE’s largest Superstars. Can Sheamus carry this momentum into SummerSlam against Mark Henry? (Exclusive interview | Preview)

gender inequality

BEFORE SOME YEARS GIRLS WERE NOT TREATED EQUAL AS COMPARED TO BOYS BUT THEN SOME MAN AND WOMEN TRIED TO CLEAN THIS GENDER INEQUALITY BUT NOW IT HAS BECOME OPPOSITE .NOW BOYS  R FACING IN EQUALITY. IN MANY WAYS GIRLS ARE BEEN CONSIDERED SUPERIOR TO BOYS. HERE R SOME EXAMPLES THAT SHOW INEQUALITY 1.) WHEN WE R STANDING IN A LINE PEOPLE SAY LADIES FIRST AND THEY                                                                            GET THE THING THEY WANT EASILY THEN BOYS
2.) IN CLASS TEACHERS SLAP BOYS BUT THEY JUST SCOLD GIRLS .
3.) THE GIRLS R USED TO STAND IN CLASS BUT THE BOYS R  MADE TO STAND IN BENCHES .

MAXIMUM % OF THIS INEQUALITY IS CREATED IN SCHOOLS

ON 09/1/2011 AT OUR SCHOOL IT WAS A TEST OF A HINDI CHAPTER. BUT OUR MAM WROTE " VILOM " ( OPPOSITE WORDS)  . THEN ALL THE STUDENT STARTED SHOUTING ' VILOM '
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

Does the tiger whose lairs
in the laurel bush there
come out for a prowl
when he hears the night owl
after dark
in the park?
or do children
tucked up in their beds
come in their dreams to play
and invisibly swing on the swings
in the night
after dark
in the park?

natural resources

On the basis of origin, resources may be divided into:
Biotic – Biotic resources are obtained from the
On the basis of availability, natural resources can be categorised as follows:
Inexhaustible natural resources- Those resources which are present in unlimited quantity in nature and are not likely to be exhausted easily by human activity are inexhaustible natural resources (sunlight, air etc.)
Exhaustible natural resources- The amount of these resources are limited. They can be exhausted by human activity in the long run (coal, petroleum, natural gas, etc.)
On the basis of distribution, natural resources can be classified as follows:
Ubiquitous resources- Resources that are found everywhere are are called ubiquitous resources. For example
Localized resources- Resources that are found only at certain places are called localized resources. For example minerals, fossil fuels

natural resources such as land, water, soil, plants and animals, with a particular focus on how management affects the quality of life for both present and future generations. Natural resource management is interrelated with the concept of sustainable development, a principle that forms a basis for land management and environmental governance throughout the world.urban planning and the broader concept of environmental management, Natural resource management specifically focuses on a scientific and technical understanding of resources and ecology and the life-supporting capacity of those resources.edit] Depletionnatural capitalism, environmentalism, the ecology movement, and green politics. Some view this depletion as a major source of social unrest and conflicts in developing nations.Mining, petroleum extraction, fishing, hunting, and forestry are generally considered natural-resource industries. Agriculture is considered a man-made resource. Theodore Roosevelt, a well-known conservationist and former United States president, was opposed to unregulated natural resource extraction. The term is defined by the United States Geological Survey as "The Nation's natural resources include its minerals, energy, land, water, and biota."[4]In recent years, the depletion of natural resources and attempts to move to [sustainable development] has been a major focus of [development agencies]. This is a particular concern in [rain forest] regions, which hold most of the Earth's natural biodiversity - irreplaceable genetic natural capital[energy conservation Conservation] of natural resources is the major focus of

The conservation of natural resources is the fundamental problem. Unless we solve that problem, it will avail us little to solve all others.Conservation biology is the scientific study of the nature and status of Earth's biodiversity with the aim of protecting species, their habitats, and ecosystems from excessive rates of extinction.[6HYPERLINK "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_resource"]HYPERLINK "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_resource"[7] It is an interdisciplinary subject drawing on sciences, economics, and the practice of natural resource management.[8]HYPERLINK "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_resource"[9]HYPERLINK "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_resource"[10]HYPERLINK "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_resource"[11] The term conservation biology was introduced as the title of a conference held University of California at San Diego in La Jolla, California in 1978 organized by biologists Bruce Wilcox and Michael Soulé.Habitat conservation is a land management practice that seeks to conserve, protect and restore, habitat areas for wild plants and animals, especially conservation reliant species, and prevent their extinction, fragmentation or reduction in range.[12]Theodore Roosevelt[5]

biosphere, such as forests and their products, animals, birds and their products, fish and other marine organisms. Mineral fuels such as coal and petroleum are also included in this category because they are formed from decayed organic matter.
Abiotic – Abiotic resources include non-living things. Examples include land, water,
air and minerals including ores such as gold, iron, copper, silver etc.
Considering their stage of development, natural resources may be referred to in the following ways:
Potential Resources – Potential resources are those that exist in a region and may be used in the future. For example,
petroleum may exist in many parts of India, having sedimentary rocks but until the time it is actually drilled out and put into use, it remains a potential resource.
Actual Resources are those that have been surveyed, their quantity and quality determined and are being used in present times. The development of an actual resource, such as
wood processing depends upon the technology available and the cost involved.
Reserve Resources - The part of an actual resource which can be developed profitably in the future is called a reserve resource.
Stock Resources - Stock resources are those that have been surveyed but cannot be used by organisms due to lack of teWith respect to renewability, natural resources can be categorized as follows:
Renewable resources are ones that can be replenished or reproduced easily. Some of them, like sunlight, air, wind, etc., are continuously available and their quantity is not affected by human consumption. Many renewable resources can be depleted by human use, but may also be replenished, thus maintaining a flow. Some of these, like agricultural crops, take a short time for renewal; others, like water, take a comparatively longer time, while still others, like forests, take even longer.Non-renewable resources are formed over very long geological periods. Minerals and fossil fuels are included in this category. Since their rate of formation is extremely slow, they cannot be replenished once they get depleted. Of these, the metallic minerals can be re-used by recycling them.[1] But coal and petroleum cannot be recycled.[2]
